Hello Gentlemen,
This is an initial email to allow you to pencil in the date on your calander. The HK ISLANDERS 2006-2007 edition of the CANTON CUP will take place on November 11th.
We have selected this date to spread out the tournaments:
Canton Cup – November
K Town Cup – January ?
Mekong Cup – May/June
We have had excellent tournaments the past two years. John Casella and the Thai Sticks have been husge supporters so far. It is hoped that this year’s tournament can grow into a bigger international event. We will be working on a package that will include hotel, tournament fee, banquet, BBQ and a Pub Crawl. The details of the cost will follow in an email in late August or early September.
If you are initially interested and would like to be included on a future email with further information, then please reply.
I hope to hear from many of you!
Cheers,
Chuck Yorke

Gentlemen,

I know it’s a long-shot, but I thought you or some of your guys might be interested:On behalf of the Flying Farangs Ice Hockey Club, I would like to invite you to the 3rd Annual Flying Farangs Open Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 26th at Phoenix Golf & Country Club in Pattaya! This is an excessively fun charity golf tournament followed by a big Tex-Mex party at Henry J. Bean’s Bar & Grill on the Beach Front Rd.in Pattaya.
Attached are the tournament poster and the Registration Form letter with all the details about the 3rd Annual Flying Farangs Open Charity Golf Tournament.
Please pass it around to anyone and everyone who might be interested in attending the tournament. Anyone who attended in past last years will attest that the FF Open is a “DON’T MISS” event for golfers of any shape or form who enjoy Thailand’s warm hospitality! The success of the tournament and our fund-raising efforts for Thai Fund Foundation (TFF) and the Ice Hockey program in Thailand depends heavily on everyone’s support!!
Please make every effort to join us on August 26th and invite as many of your friends who might be an interested in the golf &/or the party!!! Many thanks,
John Casella

All,
Please let me know if you are interested in playing in the upcoming league. It will start end of July and conclude sometime in Dec. We have some new sponsors coming on board (i.e. major mobile phone maker) in addition to our loyal sponsors (IndoChine) so this will make for an exciting league.
The details will sent out shortly but for now I need to know who is interested in participating in the league.
The rules for spare and full time players have changed so please take note:
Spare - up to 9 games max (not eligible for playoffs)
Full Time - up 18 games (or more depending on season)
Game nights are either Wed or Fri (to be determined).
